Over the years, we've handled virtually every type of jewelry. We've learned that each requires a different camera setup, lighting, and post-production approach. Necklaces are photographed differently from earrings or bracelets.
Handcrafted jewelry looks best in a realistic style, whereas costume jewelry benefits from carefully smoothed details, which become very noticeable in macro shots.
